Privacy Policy
PDHIQ does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All information you enter into the app remains on your device.
What data PDHIQ stores
PDHIQ stores the following data locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage (AsyncStorage):
- PE license details you enter (state, renewal date, license number)
- PDH activity entries you log (course name, hours, date, category, notes)
- Certificate photos you attach to PDH entries (stored locally in your device's photo-accessible storage)
- App preferences and settings
None of this data leaves your device. PDHIQ has no backend server, no user accounts, and no data syncing infrastructure.
Camera and photo library access
PDHIQ requests access to your camera and photo library solely to allow you to photograph or import PDH completion certificates and attach them to course entries. These images are stored on your device only and are never uploaded anywhere.
Notifications
PDHIQ requests permission to send local notifications to remind you of upcoming PE license renewal deadlines. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external service or server.
In-App Purchases
PDHIQ offers optional Pro upgrades via Apple's in-app purchase system (StoreKit). All purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple. PDHIQ does not receive or store any payment or financial information. Purchase status is verified locally through StoreKit.
Analytics and third-party SDKs
PDHIQ does not include any analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking libraries. No usage data, crash reports, or behavioral data is collected or transmitted.
Children's privacy
PDHIQ is intended for licensed professionals (adults). It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Because no data is collected, changes are unlikely to affect your privacy in any meaningful way.
